TRADITIONAL KUNG FU ACADEMY IN SINGAPORE
Our Academy aims to nurture your individual development, whether as a student or a member of our academy, through the study of the traditional Chinese martial arts, “Jow Ga Kung Fu” (周家功夫).
Also known as Zhou Jia Quan (周家拳) and Hung Tao Choy Mey (洪頭蔡尾), this unique form of traditional Chinese martial arts was passed down to us from the elders who fled mainland China during the Cultural Revolution.
We teach you according to your abilities and individual needs. You might consider Jow Ga Kung Fu as a form of physical exercise or stress release to help you cope with a busy lifestyle. You might also take up Jow Ga Kung Fu to benefit from our meditative exercises which improve your social and spiritual health by instilling discipline, a team spirit, and mutual respect within you.

This martial art system had passed down for many generations, which original intent was to prepare and ensure one’s survival in battles.
Historically, battles meant wars and conflict. Even to this present day, we are all fighting our own battles. We always ensure our students and prepare them to face their own everyday challenges, be it Physically or Spiritually.
Why Kung Fu? kung fu is a Chinese term that literally meant the effort and dedication that one’s put in. Only through effort and dedication then we can achieve something remarkably, sometimes we ourselves doesn’t expect that we could achieve.
Martial Arts is just one of the many paths to self-mastery. effective self-defence skills are just on the surface level, it actually incorporate unique breathing skills and mobility into channelling energy sources that doesn’t comes from brute strength.
